My work is grounded in a simple truth: people rest, heal, and change when they feel safe enough to be fully seen.
Many sleep and nervous system difficulties don’t begin with poor habits or a lack of discipline. They begin when the body learns — often very early — that it needs to stay alert in order to belong, cope, or be understood. Over time, this constant vigilance becomes automatic, and rest can feel difficult or out of reach.
I work in a calm, trauma-informed way that prioritises safety over fixing. There is no pressure to perform, explain yourself, or override your internal signals. Instead, we go at your body’s pace, listening carefully to what it needs in order to soften and settle.
From this place of safety, sleep, clarity, and wellbeing often begin to return — not through force, but through feeling received.

I’m Lisa Gargaro, a CBT-I Sleep Specialist with over a decade of experience supporting adults and families with persistent sleep difficulties.
My work focuses on understanding why sleep has become difficult, rather than rushing to fix symptoms. I take a calm, structured, and individual approach — helping people make sense of what’s happening and decide what would genuinely help.

There is no single formula for better sleep. Support is always tailored, drawing on CBT-I, psychology, nervous system regulation, and practical habit design — guided by what emerges through the work, not a preset programme.
The aim is clarity first, so change can follow in a way that is sustainable..
